Irecently bought a VCDS to troubleshoot a heating issue we have with our car (Audi A4 B8 8K 2014 Quattro). The car doesn't overheat, so I don't think it is the water pump (although my mechanic mate reckons they tend to fail quite a bit). I think it could be the heater control valve (or also known as a stop coolant valve)
havea a4 2008 b8. the heater is warm on the drivers side but blowing out cold on the passengers side. heat settings are at high on both sides. anyone any idea

Inthe new a4 facelift 2013 umidity sensor and A/C compressor are connected directly to climate control. I think your problem isn't the coding. I also remembered, about 3 months ago, I upgrade my j519 with the last software of the 2013 and my climate doesn't work with cooling features but only with ventilation!
