Lowering your car will lower the center of gravity, helping handling. To tell you the truth you will probably not feel much diffrence lowering your car on stock bolts.

Rotate the clamp slightly to alter the ride height. I think if you rotate the clamp toward the rear of the car it'll increase the height. It only takes a small adjustment to make a big change in height ad wait between adjustments as the suspension re-settles. Remember a height change can take upwards of 20s to happen; it's not instant.
