Dragon Age: Origins is a really good game, but it's also a really buggy game. Bioware were notorious for having troubled production and trying to pull everything together with mad crunch. Origins is riddled with bugs that cause broken quests, missing dialogue, and even crashes. Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack is an unofficial patch that doesn't make any changes that aren't strictly fixes. It

So if a Human rogue is vastly cooler in Inquisition, I’m willing to be something a little less cool in Origins if it means having variation. - Gameplay: Each class choice must be the most fun for each game. For example, mage isn’t nearly as fun in Origins as it is in DA 2 and Inq. Therefor warrior and rogue make more sense for Origins.

Mods do add a lot of fun to thee game though. Installing a few Mods on first playthrough is a sensible move. But choose carefully, there are mods out there that destroys the Dragon Age Lore and the reason why people often recommend playing 1st play throughs in Vanilla. There are also Mods that conflicts with each other and may give you repeated

Fireball is OK but Cone of Cold is generally better. What you need is utility, the capability of getting out of dangerous situations. Cone of Cold, Mind Blast, and Force Field are all perfect for that. E.g. when fighting a dragon, you can just cast Force Field on your tank and he'll take 0 damage. Most people go for Fireball, Inferno, Tempest yup! however, you should be online while playing inquisition since the game will update your decisions on dragon age keep, which is vital for future dragon age games. Keep in mind that the only DA game still sold through Steam is DA:O, and not even the Ultimate edition at that (Awakening is still available, though). Hi, want to play this but only with better textures. I have found the following mods: 1. jb3textures (supposed to be bad) 2. AP Neural Enhanced Textures v4 3. Retexturing DAO Which is the best? Are there any others? Are they compatible with the latest DAO version? Thx

PC has better framerate, better graphics, better controls (because of all the abilities) and better UI for character switching and tactics management. DA:O is just a fantastic RPG, one of the best I have played to date, it is very MMO style on the PC as opposed to consoles which feels more action focused. In fact having a mage on the console
Requires min/maxing to be effective, more so than the warrior or mage. Warrior: Pros: The tank class (and the arcane warrior, but only later on, and if you spec a certain way). Has the aggro abilities that allow you to draw attention, and is required so the boss doesn't ignore you and kill your mage in a single punch. .
